Tzatziki

Ingredients

  • 1 small cucumber
  • 300 ml (1 1/4 cups) DODONI strained yoghurt
  • 3 cloves garlic mashed
  • 30 ml (2 tablespoons) fresh mint finely chopped
  • 30 ml (2 tablespoons) fresh dill or parsley finely chopped
  • salt
  • freshly ground black pepper
  • mint or parsley and dill for seasoning
  • olive oil, olives and bread pie for serving

Preparation

Chop the cucumber finely and put it in a strainer with plenty of salt. Let it drain for 30 min. Rinse the cucumber with fresh water and let it drain well. Dry it using paper towels.

Mix the yoghurt, the garlic and the seasoning and season with salt and pepper. Add the cucumber and mix. Season with mint or parsley and dill. Dress it with little olive oil and serve with olives and bread pie.
